COVID Safe Practices

Important Information

We reopen for business on the 26th of October! We would like to reassure all of our members that we are operating with COVID safe plans in place.

Please read the following important information regarding COVID

We are working to ensure our centre remains a safe place to visit and work. The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the centre, however are taking extra precautions during this time.

We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our community facility with confidence.

The Centre is working to ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff is maintained. Please read below about the COVID safety processes in centre to ensure we are a community remain healthy and safe during this time.

Please Remember

If you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of the flu, cough or cold to please remain away from the centre until you are feeling 100%.

Our number one priority is the health and safety of members and staff.

Update - 23/10/2021

As we reopen for our new season you may notice some changes in Centre to help ensure the health and safety of you, our members, visitors, staff and our community.

Our Centre teams have been busy cleaning and preparing for our season re-opening and a restart of our programs. This means we have taken strict actions to ensure a high standard of environmental cleaning and providing adequate quantities of hand sanitiser or handwashing facilities in prominent places. 

  • Proof of double vaccination required upon entry (unless age or a valid medical exemption is provided)
  • QR code check in mandatory at entry.
  • Masks required unless swimming in the pool.
  • Social distancing rules must be followed at all times in Centre – please ensure you keep 1.5m distance between yourself and others.
  • You will notice our seating area around the pool will be marked with 1.5m distance rules, please help us maintain this by sitting in these areas and leaving your belongings 1.5m from others.
  • You will see sanitisation stations around the centre and upon entry. We ask you to please sanitise your hands upon entry and exit.
  • If you are able to please pay by card where possible when in the centre to minimise the handling of cash.
  • Bring a full water bottle - To keep within the state government’s current health and safety regulations, our water bubblers are out of action for the time being.
  • We ask that you please bring your own swimming equipment (kickboards, goggles), please don’t share with others.
  • Minimise your time in centre - we encourage you to arrive dressed, ready to swim and shower at home if possible.
  • If you are feeling unwell or if you have come into contact with any confirmed cases of COVID-19 in last 14 days please do not attend the Centre. 

Update - 04/02/2021

The safety and wellbeing of our members and team members is our number one priority. 
In line with VIC Government directives, from 11:59pm on 3 February 2021 new statewide restrictions are in effect. Face masks are mandatory in public indoor spaces. 

All members and guests visiting our venue in the must carry and wear a face covering. 

  • You do not need to wear a face mask when exercising outdoors or indoors.  It is recommended that you wear a face mask when you are indoors, and you cannot keep 1.5 metres distance from others.    


  • You still need to carry a face mask with you at all times. 

Exceptions to mask wearing are provided for children under 12 and people with medical conditions or disabilities. 

We will continue to operate with COVIDSafe initiatives and practices in place to provide a safe experience in our venue. This includes the use and provision of hand sanitiser stations, social distancing measures and revisions to our classes to cater for capacity restrictions.

For our members who cannot wear a face covering due to valid medical reasons, please contact our friendly team who can best guide you with advice, prior to your visit.

Update - 18/12/2020 1:00pm

The State Government and health officials have imposed new border restrictions as a result of the growing coronavirus cluster in Sydney's Northern Beaches.  

Effective immediately (18.12.20) anyone travelling or travelled since Dec 11 from the NSW hotspot areas will need to be tested and self-isolate for two weeks. 

This includes visitors and residents returning home. 

For the health and safety of our guests and visitors we ask these restrictions to be followed. If you are  
feeling unwell or showing flu like symptoms to please get tested and not travel. 

If this impacts your plans or any planned visit to our venue, please contact our staff to discuss your options.

All activities have resumed

We are excited to open the pool back up to all activities, including both lap swimming and recreational swimming for all ages.

The pool has returned to its regular opening hours;

  • Monday to Sunday, 9.30am - 6pm
  • Closed Christmas Day


  • Members will have the opportunity to reinstate their membership to gain access to Crib Point Pool.

  • Multi-Visit passes and Casual visits can be purchased upon entry via Tap & Go and EFTPOS.


The change rooms and toilets are open with hygeine measures in place.

Please note the following other changes to our facilities: 

  • Lockers will not be available for use at this time. 

Cashless Preferred

We are operating with a preferred cashless payment method. To help minimise the risk further, we recommend you tap and go where possible.

1.5m Social Distancing

The safety of our staff & patrons is our highest priority. Please follow the social distancing markers around the Centre, ensuring you adhere to the distancing guidelines of 1.5m between the next person.

Sanitise Stations

Our sanitisation stations will be found all around our Centre. Please sanitise your hands as you enter and exist each area of our Centre.

Wear a mask for you and me

Following Government regulations face masks or covering must be worn by all visitors and staff in our Centre. For the safety of our staff and members, we are able to refuse entry to visitors not wearing a face covering (unless for a medical reason).

Your face mask or covering must be worn at all time except when in the pool, exercising or drinking. 

When exercising we ask that you please carry a face mask on you at all times - where practical, in the pool, we understand this cannot happen. But we ask you to please wear your face mask to the change rooms and in or out of the centre.

Please note: A face covering needs to cover both your nose & mouth and be either a cloth or surgical mask.

Even with a mask, please keep 1.5 metres distance between you and others.


  • All our staff who are not teaching or instructing 
  • All members/visitors over the age of 12 years, unless you have a medical condition or are exercising

When exercising, please carry a mask with you at all times, where practical.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will continue to be in place to ensure the health and safety of you and our team. 
We ask that everyone enjoying our facility does their part too. This is no time to get complacent. More than ever, we should help continue to keep our Community and State safe!
